Moulana Abul Hasan Islamic Academy launches Rs 1 Million Seerat Contest on Facebook

Bhatkal – 01 Jan 2013: After organizing a successful Islamiat Contest wherein 64 thousand students participated from all over India every year, Moulana Abul Hasan Islamic Academy has launched its new campaign on popular social media website, Facebook attracting users to join Rs 1 million Seerat Contest.
The contest was launched by Bhatkal Qazi, Moulana Mulla Iqbal Nadvi at a function held at Academy’s Meeting Hall today evening. Providing the details, Academy’s General Secretary, Moulana Ilyas Nadvi said, ‘The idea behind launching this contest was to present true picture of Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) and to eliminate misunderstanding among people about Islam.’ After anti Islam film and false propaganda about our Prophet on electronic media which created waves of protest all over the world, it becomes very important to educate people and present true information and this can be achieved through such kind of big campaign. He added.
The contest will be open to public on 7th January 2013 with the title ‘Let us know this man Prophet Muhammed (S)’ on facebook and the entries will be accepted till 28th March 2013. The winner will be awarded Rs 5 lakh and the 2nd and third position winners will receive 3 lakh and 2 lakh respectively. Apart from this prize, there are many other prizes to won at individual and group level. The essay should be at least 3000 words minimum and there is no maximum limit.
On this occasion eminent personalities of Bhatkal and others were present.
