Motorcyclist killed on spot after tanker hits him

Dec 02, 2015 | Correspondent | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: A motorcyclist was killed on the spot and another person riding on the bike was injured severely when their motorcycle was hit from behind by a tanker near Bhatkal Bus Stand on National Highway Wednesday evening at around 9.45 pm, a source informed. The victim was identified as SM Muzaffar (55), a resident of Sultan Street in Bhatkal, and the injured was identified as Khaleel Sada, a resident of Khaleefa Street in Bhatkal. According to sources, both were heading towards Sultan Street from Shamsuddin Circle when their motorcycle was hit from behind by a tanker resulting into this accident. A case has been registered at Bhatkal Police Station and the tanker driver has been taken into police custody. - ARF
