More than 20 injured in horrific road accident in Bhatkal

Bhatkal: 4 May 2019:(Bhatkallys News Bureau) More than 20 people injured including women and children in a horrific road accident between mini tempo and a tempo traveler here at Sagar road near Sabatti cross of Bhatkal on Saturday, 4 May. According to the sources, a tempo from Bengaluru after visiting Sigandoor temple was on its way to Murdeshwar when it collided with another tempo traveler that was coming from opposite direction and was heading towards Sigandoor. The impact of the accident left more than twenty people injured including children and women. As soon as the reports of the incident went viral on social media most of the ambulances from the town including 108 ambulance, welfare and Rabita society’s ambulance rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to the Taluka Government hospital, Bhatkal. Seriously injured victims were shifted to Kundapur after providing first-aid at Taluka hospital here. A case has been registered at Bhatkal Rural Police Station. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
