More than 20 injured as tempo overturns near Sarpankatta

29th May 2013 / Rizwan Gangavali / Bhatkallys News Bhatkal- More than 20 persons have been injured when a tempo  in which they were travelling, overturned near Sarpankatta on NH-66 today afternoon. Eight persons including two children have been severely injured and have been sent to Kundapur and remaining have been sent to Government Hospital Bhatkal for treatment. According to sources, 25 persons were travelling in this tempo and were returning after attending a marriage function in Sarpankatta. The accident occurred after the driver lost control when a cow suddenly came in front and the tempo overturned. This case has been registered at Bhatkal Suburban Police Station.
