Monsoon time-table on Konkan Railway from July 1

MANGALORE: The monsoon time-table on Konkan Railway will come in to effect for trains leaving from originating stations from July 1. Accordingly, train 10104 Madgaon-CSTM Mandovi express will leave at 8.30am (9.30am earlier); 11004 Sawantwadi Road-Dadar Road Rajya Rani Express will leave at 5.30pm (6.10pm); 12617 Ernakulam Junction- Hazrat Nizamuddin Mangala Express at 10.45am (1.05pm); 12052 Madgaon-Dadar Road Janashatabdi Express at 12.10pm (2.40pm); 12620 Mangalore- Lokamanya Tilak Terminus Matsyagandha Express at 12.50pm (2.40pm); 10112 Madgaon-CSTM Konkan Kanya Express at 4.45pm (6pm); 12449 Madgaon-Chandigarh Goa Sampark Kranti Express at 12.25pm (11.20am); 12134 Mangalore Junction-CSTM Express at 4.45pm (2pm); 22907 Madgaon-Hapa Express at 7.15am (10.40am); 12741 Vasco Da Gama-Patna Junction at 6pm (7.05pm); 501016 Sawantwadi Road-Diva passenger at 8.35am (8.25am); 56641 Madgaon-Mangalore passenger at 2pm (1.50pm); 10215 Madgoan-Ernakulam Junction at 9pm (9.30pm); and 16524 Karwar-Yesvantpur junction at 2.55pm (2.40pm). Train 70105/70106 Bhatkal - Mangalore DEMU will be extended up to Madgaon from July 1. The train will leave Madgaon at 5am and reach Mangalore Central at 12.05pm. In the return direction, the train will leave Mangalore Central at 2.55pm and reach Madgaon at 10.30pm. Konkan Railway stated that the extension of the train from Bhatkal to Madgoan has been done on public request since there are three trains that connect Mangalore with Madgaon and none from that end. It will vastly help those who want to come to the city for purchase and return to Madgaon the same day. Terminal station of train 16524/16518 - 16517/16523 Karwar/Kannur-Mangalore-Yesvantpur express will be shifted from Yesvantpur to Bangalore City from August 15 with changed timings. -TOI
