Mohtesham Academy celebrates Annual day

Bhatkal 24 Feb 2018: Students and Management of Mohtesham Academy Bhatkal of Friday celebrated their annual day at the Kazia Hassan Hall of Rabita Society here in Bhatkal, wherein Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed Bavikatte, Principal of Anjuman Institute of Technology and Management (AITM) was present as the chief guest.
In his address, Dr. Mushtaq spoke about career building and how to learn from mistakes and failures, while stressing upon the students achieve mastery in whatever profession the choose. He also urged the students to maintain positive image of themselves while abiding by the regulations of the Islamic Shariah.
Another guest Qazi Khalifa Jamat-ul-Muslimeen Bhatkal Moulana Khwaja Mohinuddin Akrami Madani, pressed on students to take along the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his companions in whatever careers they get in to and explained the students how the implementation of those teachings plays an important role in one's success.
Guest of Honor, Umar Bin Abdul Azeez Khalifa in his address expressed the need for the students to get over commerce and management courses in the fast evolving world where contributions in the fields of science and technology will have more importance than the contribution in the fields of economics and commerce in the course of next 15 years.
Moulana Iqbal Naite and Moulana Khaleel ur Rahman Muniri and Abdul Raqueeb MJ also addressed the students during the event.
Founder and Chairman of the Academy Mohtesham Mohammed Yaseen presented the annual report of the academy.
Several awards and medals were also distributed among students for their performance and academic excellence during the academic year 2017-18.
Ahmed Faraz Ruknuddin and Abrar Khan received the Students of the year award in PU II External and SSLC External batches respectively, while Shaikh Zabi of PU II External abd Khabbab Bilal Ruknuddin of PU I Regular received 'Excellence in Academics' (Silver Medals) awards in their respective batches. Another Student Taj Muhammed was also awarded with cash prize for his extra-ordinary efforts despite the difficulties and financial struggles. Several other students also received cash prizes.
Earlier in the day in a separate event organized for the female students at the same venue, Sariya Nasreen of PU II External was conferred the Student of the Year award, while Aysha Simra Nurul Amin Ruknuddin of SSLC Regular and Nazneen Bangali of SSLC External received 'Excellence in Academics' awards.
The prestigious award of the academy 'Umeed-e-Mohtesham' (Gold Medal) was however bagged by Ruqaiya Jailani Kobatte of SSLC regular batch.
Shaikh Zabi compered the event, Mohtesham Yaseen welcomed the guest while Talish Mashaikh delivered vote of thanks.
