Mohammed bin Zayed attends national day celebrations

ABU DHABI—General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has attended the UAE’s 41st national day celebrations organised by Sweihan area citizens.
Present were Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Abdullah Al Mohair Al Ketbi, Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court and a number of officials.
The citizens welcomed the attendance of Shaikh Mohammed, saying it reflects the keenness of leadership on participating with citizens in national celebrations. They applauded the huge achievements being experienced by the UAE, thanks to the President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The citizens reiterated that the second of December is a landmark date for the UAE as it is the day on which Emiratis remember the founding fathers and UAE citizens who had persevered and overcome the challenges to lead the UAE to this day.
The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince exchanged the greetings with the citizens. “This creative interaction reflects the extent of cohesion, harmony and closeness we enjoy in this generous country led by President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan”, said Shaikh Mohammed.
Poems on love of the country and allegiance to the founding fathers were recited.
