Dubai, September 26, 2025: Modo Technologies, a Bengaluru- and Dubai-based provider of smart home and building automation solutions, has announced its participation in GITEX Global 2025, the world’s largest technology exhibition scheduled to be held from October 13 to 17 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The company said it will use the platform to announce two key distribution partnerships in the United Arab Emirates while also unveiling a wide portfolio of next-generation smart living products.
Modo Technologies confirmed that it has secured exclusive distribution rights for two major international brands—SwitchBot and Lockin—both known for their innovations in the smart home industry. Under the SwitchBot partnership, Modo will become the sole distributor for the brand’s AI-powered and robotic smart home solutions in the UAE. SwitchBot’s portfolio includes automation products designed to bring cutting-edge convenience to households. The agreement with Lockin gives Modo exclusive rights to distribute its advanced smart lock technology across the UAE. Lockin’s Veno 7 Pro, a palm vein recognition smart lock that won the CES 2025 Best for Home Security Award, will be among the flagship products showcased.
At GITEX, Modo Technologies will present a series of new offerings from SwitchBot, Lockin and its other established brand partners. Among the SwitchBot innovations are the K20+ Pro multitasking household robot, which the company describes as the world’s first all-in-one assistant combining floor cleaning, home security, air purification and smart deliveries. Also on display will be the S20 Pro robot vacuum with enhanced navigation, the Lock Ultra retrofit smart lock compatible with almost all existing locks and offering multiple unlocking methods, and a high-resolution video doorbell with wide-angle view and long-lasting battery life.
From Lockin’s product line, visitors will see the solar-powered Veno 7 Pro smart lock, which uses palm vein recognition technology with 99.9 percent accuracy and ultra-fast response times. The device also features a wide-angle camera and local storage, designed to enhance security in both residential and commercial settings.
The exhibition will also showcase new developments from Modo’s existing partners. Meross will present its Matter-compatible smart home ecosystem including energy monitors, smoke alarms and water leak detection systems. Govee will highlight its intelligent lighting range with screen-synced ambient lighting and outdoor solutions. Loxone will provide immersive demonstrations of its building automation systems, including lighting, climate control, energy management and integrated security. Quadral will present its premium German audio solutions, featuring the Aurum and Chromium Style series of speakers, along with installation models for smart spaces.
A spokesperson for Modo Technologies said that GITEX 2025 will mark a turning point in the company’s regional growth. “GITEX 2025 represents a pivotal moment for Modo Technologies as we expand our role as the region's premier smart technology distributor. Our new partnerships with SwitchBot and Lockin, combined with continued innovation from brands like Meross, Govee, Loxone and Quadral, position us to deliver the most comprehensive smart living solutions in the MENA region,” the spokesperson said.
Founded in 2020, Modo Technologies operates out of Dubai and Bengaluru. The company works across three verticals: distribution of global smart home brands, bespoke automation and IT solutions, and turnkey smart space development. It is also the official regional partner of Loxone.
GITEX Global 2025 will take place from October 13 to 17 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Modo Technologies will showcase its products and partnerships at Booth H23-A25, where industry professionals, technology enthusiasts and media representatives will be able to experience the latest innovations in smart home and building automation.
