MLA JD Naik visits Gousia Street; Donates fund for bridge repair work

Bhatkal – 01 Jan 2013: Bhtkal MLA Mr JD Naik recently visited Gousia Street and inspected the repair work of bridge carried out with MLA fund. It may be noted that, a bridge on Hira river connecting Mundalli with Gousia Street was completely damaged and the residents of Gousia Street and social worker Mr Faiyaz Mulla have campaigned for its repair work and appealed Bhatkal MLA Mr JD Naik to show special interest in restoring the bridge. On this occasion, residents of Gousia Mohalla complained about other problems like poor drainage system which is polluting the ground water in the area.
