Missing girl returns home

BHATKAL: 11 year old girl from Bhatkal’s Umer Street area who went missing on Sunday evening returned back to her home after 34 hours. Initial investigation reveals that she was abducted from Umer Street area on her way to tuition class by 2 youths who came on a Tavera car. She was initially taken to Shirali and from there she was moved to Bangalore by public transport. Two Bus tickets have been also recovered from her, one is from Shirali to Bangalore and the other one is from Bangalore to Bhatkal. Bhatkal police after registering a FIR sent the girl for medical examination at Bhatkal Govt Hospital, but later due to the sensitive nature of this case, she was shifted to Manipal hospital.
