Miscreants vandalise church in Murdeshwar

Bhatkal – Miscreants burgled and damaged the statues here at ‘Christ the King’ church located in Murdeshwar. The incident came to light in the morning when people visited the church and informed the police. According to the sources, around 50 thousand worth gold ornaments are missing and the donation box which was kept outside was also found broken. The miscreants tried to give communal color to this incident by vandalizing the church and damaging vehicles parked outside church building. On receiving the news of this incident, Bhatkal CPI Mr Beliyappa and Murdeshwar PSI along with other staff visited the spot and started their investigation with the help of Dog Squad.
