Midmac Hubli wins KSCA Dharwad Zone Cricket Tournament

Hubli – Hubli based Midmac emerged champions in the KSCA’s Dharwad Zone II Division Cricket tournament for the year 2012-13 and were promoted to I Division league next year. Midmac, who took part in the tournament for just second time, did extremely well to gather 38 points from their nine league matches which includes 7 wins and a draw. Their lone loss came against the Sports Academy of Gadag who finished runner-up last year had to remain content with the same position this year too. Hubli Cricket Academy which started off as a favorite clinched 3rd position as they lost one match against SAG and drew 2 matches to secure 36 points. JCA secured fourth position followed by Dharwad based SDMCA 5th and Talent Sports Club (TSC) secured 6th place with 32 points. The City Cricketers Gadag and Sahara Sports Club Hubli finished 7thh and 8thh respectively with 15 and 10 points. Bhatkallys News Service
