Metro services again hit by power supply failure

In the second such incident in the past one week, a power supply failure on reach 3 of Namma Metro (Sampige Road-Nagasandra) stalled services for around an hour on Monday. A total of 84 passengers stranded in a train were evacuated by security personnel. According to officials, the power supply to the track was cut off around 1.03 pm. The train was stalled near Rajajinagar station for 50 minutes while Metro personnel scrambled to evacuate the passengers to Rajajinagar station.
