Memorandum submitted to EC demanding computer system in Bhatkal to eliminate wrong entries in ID cards

Bhatkal - 27 April 2011: A group of people including Bhatkal's renowned social workers Mr Fayyaz Mulla and Mr Irshad Ikkery (Data) recently met Uttara Kannada DC Mr B N Krishnaiah and submitted a memorandum to Election Commissioner demanding availability of computer system in Bhatkal to eliminate wrong entries like spelling errors and incorrect address etc in Election ID cards.

It may be noted that, for all govt works like passport, DL etc ID card is required and if there is any error in that, it is very difficult to correct those errors because there is no such facility available in Bhatkal.
