‘Media and Education are the two important means of Dawah’ – Moulana Syed Rabey

APS-opening-hall-library-1 Bhatkal – 09 Jan 2013: ‘Media and Education are the two important means of our progress and they are very effective in spreading dawah’, these were the words of Moulana Syed Rabey Hasani Nadvi, President, All India Muslim Personal Law Board. He was addressing the public gathering here at Ali Public School (APS), Bhatkal after inaugurating ‘Moulana Wazeh Rasheed Library’ & ‘Mohtesham Abdul Gani Hall’. Moulana said, ‘There was a time when Europe and America are depending on us for education but when we forgot our creator and started running behind worldly life, our downfall began.’ Moulana said, ‘Our religion Islam says us to maintain balance between religious and worldly life and not to ignore one for the other. He congratulated Moulana Ilyas for using Internet and famous social networking website for promoting dawah. He said, ‘Media plays an important role in making the mindset of people, its effects are very quick and change the perception of people.’ ‘Today the Media is hijacked by some vested interest people and infiltrated with anti Islam content, so it becomes very important to use media in an effective way and convey true message of Islam.’ He added. Speaking on this occasion, APS School Chairman, Moulana Ilyas Nadvi said that the main objective of establishing APS is to deliver quality modern education on Islamic lines. ‘We are planning to open 20 more Ali Public Schools all over India from next academic year.’ He added. The program was concluded with the vote of thank by Moulana Maqbool Kobatte. Large number of people attended the program.
