Bhatkal: 23, March (Bhatkallys News Bureau) After the completion of thirty days of fasting in Bhathkal and surrounding areas, Muslims celebrated the Eid al-Fitr by offering Eid prayer and exchanging greetings with each other. On this occasion, Maulana Abdul Aleem Khateeb Nadvi, who led the Eid prayer at the Eidgah in Bhatkal, gave a special message to the youth, parents, and leaders. He said that the worship in Ramadan teaches us patience and perseverance. During Ramadan, we restrain ourselves from halal (permissible) things for a limited time, and this is called patience. This patience is essential in our lives. He also said that another message of Ramadan is that just as we avoid Haram (forbidden) things during Ramadan, we should continue to avoid them even after Ramadan. We should continue to engage in the worship of Allah and avoid sins, which is a sign of acceptance of our Ramadan worship. Maulana talked about the conditions of the country and said that there is an environment of violence, narrow-mindedness, and bigotry everywhere in the country. A climate of hatred is being created against a particular class, but this Eid gives us a message of love. It gives us a message of embracing each other and avoiding hatred in these dark times. Maulana Abdul-Alim gave the message of Islam on the occasion of happiness, saying that Islam instructs us to follow Shariah in both happiness and sorrow. Keep Shariah in mind at all times. Let it not be that we act in a way that tarnishes our name and that of Islam when we come in emotions. Maulana addressed the community leaders and asked them to bear tolerance, as there may be differences of opinion and everyone may have their own thoughts, and it is also necessary because free thinking is a symbol of lively nations. If someone's opinion is different from ours, it does not mean that he is an enemy of religion and nation. He asked them to broaden their hearts and become serious about national matters. Do not break unity for temporary and personal benefits. Time-bound things come and go, they do not affect the nation. Giving a lesson of unity, he invited us to stay united by accepting each other in today's circumstances. In these circumstances, hatred should be avoided as it weakens us; otherwise, the institutions established by our ancestors will be destroyed. Responsible people should keep in mind the benefits of the nation and their emotions instead of personal interests and development. They should not sell themselves for cheap fame.
