Markazi Khaleefa Jamatul Muslimeen holds ‘Salana Jalsa’

Bhatkal – 12 Jan 2013: Markazi Khalifa Jamatul Muslimeen organized its ‘Salana Jalsa’ on Friday night here at Khalifa Jamia Masjid, Bhatkal. President Khalifa Jamatul Muslimeen, Mr Syed Hasan Saqqaf welcomed the guests. General Secretary, Mr Sada Mohammed Meeran presented annual report while Secretary, Mr Siddibapa Mohammed Ali presented annual budget. Both reports were accepted by the members after having brief discussion. Addressing the gathering, Qazi Jamatul Muslimeen, Moulana Khwaja Madani highlighted various social evils that are making roots in the society. He advised people to keep their weddings simple and do not indulge in activities which are bringing shame to the society. He warned against latest trends in wedding like carrying bride-groom in goods rickshaw and scooters and making fun of him. He warned against such indecent acts and termed it as anti-Islamic. He said ‘Concept of engagement, Mehdi ceremony and other unnecessary traditions are not there in Islam. Islam emphasizes on simple wedding.’ The program was concluded with the vote of thanks by Shabandri Ismail Chedubapa. Dinner was served at the end of the program. Bhatkallys News Serivice
