Manki: 59 year old woman dies after falling off KSRTC bus

Honnavar 29 Jan 2018: A 59-year-old woman died on the spot after falling off from a running KSRTC bus at Maravante NH66 in the taluka on the evening of Saturday, 27 Jan. The deceased has been identified as Kamala Yane Radhakrishna Hegde, a resident of Harkade Village in Kumta. According to the reports, Kamala was standing on the foot board of the bus when she fell off the bus after the driver applied sudden brakes. She was said to be heading towards Honnavar from Bhatkal, in Bhatkal-Honnavar KSRTC City Bus. Kamala sustained severe injuries on her body and succumbed to it on the spot A Case has been registered in Manki Police Station.
