Mankal Vaidya to contest Bhatkal Assembly Election

Bhatkal – Mankal Vaidya, a well-know personality from Bhatkal and a President of Taluka Fisherman Association announced his interest in contesting Bhatkal Assembly Elections as a Congress candidate. He announced this at a press meet held at Hotel Shrinivasa in-front of large nubmer of his supporters. Currently he is a member of Taluka Panchayat and successfully running a CBSE school in Murdeshwar. Speaking on this occasion he said, if he didn't get ticket from Congress party, he will not join any other party instead he will contest the elections as an independent.
