Mankal Vaidya inaugurates special ward for women in Bhatkal government hospital

22 July 2013 / Rizwan Ganguly / Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: A special ward for women has been inaugurated in Bhatkal government hospital by Bhatkal MLA Mankal Vaidya. Speaking at the function, Mr. Vaidya said that Bhatkal's famous social worker Syed Hasan Barmawar has worked hard for the realization of the ward and Janab Qazia Yunus has donated for this cause. Mr. Vaidya thanked both of them and instructed the government officials to use the facility appropriately. Addressing the audience, AC V.R.P. Manohar also thanked both of them and said that in Bhatkal, there is no dearth of people like them and it is only with their efforts, initiatives like these are realized which are of great benefit to everyone. On this occasion, he also informed of the inauguration of a Blood Storage Unit in Bhatkal on 15th August 2013.
