Mangaluru: Two BJP workers detained for allegedly disrupting CPI(M) election meet

Mangaluru 29 April 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Mangaluru Police on Saturday detained two BJP workers for allegedly disrupting the Election meet which was being held by the local CPI(M) unit at Yeyyadi on Saturday, April 28. CPI(M) had organised a public meet as a part of their campaign for their candidates Muneer Katipala and Sunil Kumar Bajal. Meanwhile, BJP workers interrupted and tried to disrupt the peace resulting in clash between two parties. The police intervened and managed to control the situation and detained two BJP workers. Later, the programme was resumed amidst tight security and the police security was beefed up in the area.
