Mangaluru: Two arrested for robbing women and students in City mall

Mangaluru 20 May 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Two person were arrested by City North Police in connection with extortionate of money and valuables at City Centre Mall on Friday, May 18. The arrested are identified to be Asif Hussain (28) from Bangaluru and Afsar Ahmed (25) from Mysuru. According to the reports the accused allegedly targeted youth and women at the mall and robbed them by threatening them of their lives. Working on a complaint filed by a few students, a special team led by DCP Law and Order and other top officials of the police investigated the case and made the arrests. Following the arrests, the accused confessed to the crimes and robbed gold ornaments were recovered from them. (Bhatkallys News Bureau/ Wafa Kifa)
