Mangaluru: Three youngsters attacked by a gang of masked men, one critical

Bhatkallys News Bureau/ Wafa Kifa Mangaluru: Three youngsters were allegedly attacked by a few masked men in the outskirts of the city wherein one victim has been said to be in a critical condition while the other two have also sustained injuries. The incident took place at late night here at Kasba of Bengre on Sunday, April 8. The victims have been identified as Anveez, Siraj and Irshad from same locality. Anveez, Siraj and Irshad were returning back to their home on a motorcycle but as they reached near football ground, a gang of six masked men attacked them with sharp weapons. While Irshad and Siraj somehow managed to escape with the injuries, Anveez became the punch of the gang. However Siraj informed his friends about the incident, to that his friends rescued them and admitted them to A J Hospital. While Anveez who was severely injured and lying in football ground was noticed by local fishermen who rushed him to the hospital. A case has been registered in Panambur Police Station and further investigations are underway.
