Mangaluru: Six including three women arrested by CCB Police on charges of honey trapping

Mangaluru: The CCB Police on Thursday, March 22 had arrested a gang of six including three women in charge of harassing and pressuring a retired government employee to deprive three lac rupees after offering him a massage service.
The accused has been identified as Preetesh (36) and Ramesh(35) from Mangaluru and Ravi (35) from Chikkamagluru along with three women.
The accused visited the man at his resident in Maryhill and trapped the old man making him believe to get him massage done by a women. The man was introduced to a women in Derebail and was sent to her home on March 20. Once he reached, three unknown men entered the house and forced him to take off his clothes and clicked photos and video clips of the man in company of women. Simultaneously, the gang blackmailed and demanded three lac rupees from the person by threatening that they would viral the photos in social media platform and harm his reputation. In a state of shock, the man agreed to pay the money and transferred to one of the accused's account.
A couple of days later, they again demanded for more money. The man then was unmoved and filed a complaint regarding the issue at Kavoor Police Station.
Finally, the CCB police conducted a operation to arrest the accused gang with the help of PSI and other staffs.
