Mangaluru: Rahul wave will sweep Karnataka elections, UT Khader

Bhatkallys News Bureau/ Wafa Kifa Mangaluru 16 March 2018: Congress National President Rahul Gandhi is to visit Mangaluru city on March 20, said minister for food and civil supplies, U T Khader at a press conference on Thursday, March 15. To ensure the people in regard to the crisis of drinking water that might take place in summer, the meeting was held. Khader directed local gram panchayat to supply water through tanker for a week in case of shortage of water in residential areas without fail. And in case if requirements exceed over a week advised local water supply engineer and tahsildar to verify the concern. Atleast 15000 people around Mangaluru and 75000 from around dakshina kannada district is expected to attend the meet of Rahul Gandhi, he added. He further added, "Rahul wave is sweeping state and the congress will comfortably win the assembly elections". Many higher officials including Chandrahas R Karkera (Bantwal Taluk Panchayat President) and Mamata D S Gatti (ZP member) attended the conference.
