Mangaluru International Airport to roll out new parking fares for vehicles from August 1

Mangaluru: Mangaluru International Airport will roll out new parking fee structure at the airport's parking premises beginning August 1, a press release from the airport informed on Tuesday. According to the new fee structure parking buses and trucks will cost Rs. 30 while parking car and two-wheelers will cost Rs. 20 and Rs. 10 respectively for first half an hour. After the first 30 mins the charges will be increased to Rs. 120 for buses, Rs. 70 for trucks, Rs. 60 for mini buses and tempos, Rs. 55 for cars and Rs. 15 for two-wheelers. The press release also added that the fees will vary depending upon the time slabs and will be applicable for selected parking slots at the airport. No vehicle will be allowed to be parked for alighting at arrival and departure gates for more than three minutes and violators will be charged four times of the fees as penalty.
