Mangaluru: 'India's first 3D planetarium to be innaugurated on March 1 at Pillikulla park' Siddaramaiah

Bhatkallys News Bureau Mangaluru 19 Feb 2018: "Swami Vivekananda 3D Planetarium", country's first 3D planetarium is all set for inauguration located at Dr. Shivaram Karanth Biological Park, Pilikulla, quoted CM Siddaramiah on the eve of recently held budget. The planetarium is in its final phase of completion and that only a trial run is under process. The same is said to be get inaugurated on March 1. The ceremony would be inaugurated by a local leader. The officials earlier wished to get it inaugurated by the CM, but due to his scheduled, he will not be available for the inauguration, sources said. The project began in 2014 with an allocation of Rs 22.5 Crore which has now been raised up to Rs 36.5 Crore.
