Mangaluru: Homeless man resting on the pavement of road run over by speeding car, sustains severe injuries

Bhatkallys News Bureau/ Wafa Kifa Mangaluru 24 March 2018: A over-speeding car rammed into a man who was reportedly resting on the roadside resulting in him sustaining major injuries, the incident took place at MG road of the city on Friday. The victim has been identified as Harishchandra, a homeless man. It is gathered that as soon as the accident took place, a police car which arrived on the spot shifted the man to the Government Wenlock Hospital where Harishchandra is receiving treatment. Police suspects the man was intoxicated when the incident took place. Police have registered a case and further investigations are underway.
