Mangaluru: Ganja, lighters, cutters and other items seized from District Jail in a surprise raid

Bhatkallys News Bureau/ Wafa Kifa Mangaluru 15 April 2018: On Saturday, April 14 police officials team yet again conducted a surprise raid at the district jail and managed to seize Tobacco, Mobile Phones, Beedies, Cigarettes, Ganja Packets and other such items. The operation was carried out under the supervision of Police Commissioner TR Suresh, by DCP Crime & Traffic Uma Prashant and DCP Law & Order Hanumantharyya along with a team of 20 police officers and also 30 men and women of various ranks from various Police Station. They raided the prison and recovered various items including lighters, Cutters, beedies etc. Barke Police has initiated action into the matter.
