Mangaluru: Gang of three members arrested for robbing highway passengers

Zaorez Shabab Mangaluru/ Talapady 16 Dec 2017: Ullal police on Friday recovered Chilli powder, Knives and other weapons from a gang of three members in connection with the loots of highway passengers during nights near KC road Talapady. Yahya (26), resident of Kotekar, Mohammed Fayaz (19), resident of Talapady and Abdul Tausif (19), resident of Kuthar, are the trio arrested and booked by the Ullal police under the supervision of SHO Ullal police station Gopikrishna. According to the police records the trio are history sheeters and several cases are already booked against them of theft, murder threats and consuming drugs at Mangaluru, Puttur and other cities. A case has been registered under IPC sections 399 and 402 has been registered against the accused and further investigations are underway.
