Mangaluru: Four arrested for possessing dangerous weapons

Bhatkallys News Bureau/ Wafa Kifa Mangaluru 04 April 2018: The Anti-Rowdy Squad of Mangaluru North Sub-division have arrested four youths for illegally possessing dangerous weapons on Sunday, April 1. The arrested have been identified as Sandeep Devadiga (29) from Katipala 4th block, Ajit Harady(21) from Brahmawar, Charan Raj(22) from Bantwal and Rakshit Bhandary(30) from Dhsrmastala. On sunday, the squad upon reliable information raided the residence of Devadiga and siezed three swords from him. After inquiring him, the team then arrested Harady and Raj for allegedly providing 10 bullets and two country made pistols to Bhandary. The two were acting upon the instructions from Satish, who is in Belagavi Central Prison for lifetime imprisonment in murder case, police added. The police is investigating on the case and interrogating the accused to know the purpose of acquiring illegal weapons.
