Mangaluru fisherman swims for over seven hours for life after his boat capsizes mid-sea

Mangaluru 21 August 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) A local fisherman from Mangaluru swam for over seven hours for his life after his fishing boat capsized mid-sea on Monday 20 August.
According to the reports, Nagarajan (39) hailing from Tamil Nadu, went for fishing with his friends on Monday and while fishing his boat capsized mid-sea.
Before his friends came to know about the incident, Nagarajan was already missing into the waters and was untraceable. His friends immediately launched a search operation for over three hours, but due to bad weather, they were unable to find Nagarajan, and returned back to shores assuming Nagarajan to be 'lost'.
Luckily for Nagarajan, a cargo ship from UAE noticed him and got him onboard safely, by then Nagarajan had swam for over seven hours into the waters.
Nagarajan who is residing in Mangaluru for last 20 years is now unable to recall how he fell into the water, and he is now reported to be safe and fit.
