Mangaluru: Drugs inside pumpkin lands man in jail

Mangaluru 18 May 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) CISF personnel at Mangaluru Airport on Friday apprehended a person who was to board a Doha flight from Mangaluru International Airport and recovered 10 kg of Ganja drugs after suspecting his behavior at the security check before boarding the flight. The accused has been identified as Tasleem from Kalayi. During the security screening of the baggage, the CISF personnel suspicious about three pumpkins in the bag, questioned Tasleem about it, who couldn't answer their queries with confidence. As the suspicion grew, CISF opened his baggage for inspection and found Ganja neatly packed inside the pumpkins after removing the inner-core.   A case has been registered and further investigations are underway.
