Mangaluru: 'College students being targeted by Narcotic and drugs lobby' says police after arresting 2 students with 2 kg Ganja

Mangaluru 20 Jan 2018: Two students were arrested when they were reportedly carrying ganja to Mangaluru here at Kasargod on January 18, Thursday.
They are identified as Shan Sebastian (20), an SFI (Students Federation of India) Activist and Donald Kunhimon (20), student of a private college in Mangaluru. Both hailing from Kannur. They were detained by a police team led by Inspector Ajit Kumar of Kasargad town Police Station while working on tip-off.
Police suspects that they were just a 'Carriers' of drug to a certain groups at Mangaluru and believed that the drugs are being filtered into the city from Andhra.
The motorcycle used by the students was also seized by police. The police officials have been warning parents about the narcotic and drugs lobby using the students to carry, deliver, and circulate their products and has repeatedly asked parents to take care of their children in this regard.
The case has been registered and further investigation underway.
