Mangaluru: BJP leader alleges fake voters in existence in Dakshin Kannada

Bhatkallys News Bureau Mangaluru: Former MLC and BJP leader Monappa Bhandary alleged that the Electoral office which comes under the revenue department of Mangalore City Corporation(MCC) issues Voter ID Card illegally. This issue came into picture in a press meet held at BJP Office on January 22, Monday. Addressing a press meet here, Bhandary alleged that in the Electoral office, a bundles of applications with no proper details were seen that were to get enrolled in voters List without correct verification. He claimed of having proof of it. He alleged two officials in regard to this namely Sathosh and Muhammad. He also alleged that this illegal work has been taking place due to the support of MLA J R Lobo. Former MLA Yogish Bhat said that the DC should investigate these allegations thoroughly and take actions against those who are involved in creating fake ID's. Sudheer Shetty, Vedavyas Kamath and others were present in the meet.
