Mangaluru: BJP files Rs. One crore defamation case against Kumaraswamy for naming direct involvement of BJP corporator

Bhatkallys News Bureau/ I. Zaorez Shabab Mangaluru 10 Jan 2018: Surathkal BJP Block President Dr. Bharat Shetty called a press conference on Tuesday Jan 09 and announced that the party has filed Rs. One crore defamation case against JDS President HD Kumaraswamy who had alleged and named a local BJP leader and corporator that the BJP corporator had direct involvement in Deepak Murder case of Mangaluru while addressing press reporters in Mysuru. Shetty also slammed Congress party and said "The statements of Congress and JDS so far in the case has been Politically immature and shows that it is given out of their respective political motive". He also questioned the credibility of a 'local MLA' who immediately after the murder had alleged the involvement of BJP in the case. He termed the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's visit to the residences of Deepak and Basheer, as politically motivated and questioned why the CM did not visit the house of  Sharat Madivala who was also murdered and that then also the CM was to visit the city.
