Mangaluru: ACB arrest village accountant while accepting bribe from a woman

Bhatkallys News Bureau/ Wafa Kifa Beltangady 06 April 2018: A village accountant was arrested by the officials of Anti-corruption Bureau(ACB) for allegedly accepting bribe from a women here on Thursday, April 5. The arrested has been identified as Harish Kumar, accountant of nearby village Puttila. The ACB Officials conducted the raid and arrested Harish Kumar after social activist Surendra Bhangady filed a complaint against him when he was accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000 from a woman for pending application. It is said that Harish had earlier taken Rs 3,000 from the women and was harassing her since a year. The operation was carried out by SP Shruthi NS, DySP Sudheer Hegde, Circle Inspector Mohan Kottary and other officials.
