Mangaluru: ABVP protests against killing RSS activist in Kannur; demands banning of PFI

Mangaluru 21 Jan 2018: Akhila Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishat (ABVP) staged a massive protest demanding the ban on PFI for allegedly murdering RSS and Hindu Activists here on January 20, Saturday.
On Friday night, Shayam Prasad, a saffron activist was killed and in connection to that police had arrested four men who all belonged to SDPI, a political wing of PFI.
Protesters claimed that so far about 20 murders of RSS members were reported and alleged that the PFI was involved all the cases. Hence protesters shouted slogans against PFI and demanded it to be banned.
Protesters also slammed Congress Government alleging that it supports and encourages these Organisations.
Mangaluru ABVP Secretary Tejasvi along with many other members of the organisation were present during the protest.
