Man who established one of the first Nursing home of Bhatkal, Dr. Peter Gonsalves no more

Bhatkal 02 June 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Famous Gynecologist of Bhatkal Dr. Peter Gonsalves on June 01, breathed his last due to Cardiac arrest in a private hospital of Bengaluru around 11:00 pm, he was aged 74. Gonsalves established one of the first nursing home of Bhatkal named Arogyamatha nursing home, also known as Gonsalves hospital which mainly dealt with pregnancy and labor cases of Bhatkal. According to his relatives, Gonsalves was in Bengaluru on a visit to his daughter's house, upon complaining of chest pain he was shifted to a private hospital there but he breathed his last on Friday night due to cardiac arrest. The mortal remains of Gonsalves is being brought back to Bhatkal from Bengaluru and is expected to reach here at around 07. 00 pm on Saturday, his funeral rites ceremony is scheduled for Sunday at 11.00 am at St. Joseph Chapel church at Purvarga (Mughliihonda).
