Man shot dead in Delhi's Jhilmil industrial area, no arrests made so far

A man was shot dead by two unidentified men in Jhilmil Industrial area of East Delhi on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Hariom Sharma.

New delhi,jan 06,2019: A 35-year-old man was shot dead by two unidentified men in Jhilmil Industrial area of East Delhi on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Hariom Sharma. Deceased's family members mentioned that they received a call and were told that Sharma has been shot and was admitted to GTB Hospital. Upon arrival, the family came to know Sharma has been shot dead. However, the police have registered a case but so far no arrests have been made. The family members added that Sharma had no enemies. Investigations also revealed that Sharma was a supervisor in a factory at friends colony, police said. Police are examining CCTV footage to identify the accused and ascertain the exact sequence of event, a senior police officer told news agency PTI. In a similar case reported in the national capital, a man was shot dead on Saturday by unidentified assailants. News agency PTI reported, a 28-year Anil Maan, a resident of Kheda Khurd village, was allegedly fired upon by unidentified persons in Rohini's KN Katju area. Reportedly, the incident took place at 6 pm when Maan was coming out of his restaurant along with his three friends. A case has been registered but the accused are yet to be arrested, police told agency.
