Man run over by train in Shirali

10 Nov 2013 / Rizwan Gangavaly / Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: A 45-year-old man was run over by a speeding train near Shirali on Saturday late night. The dismembered body of the deceased was found on the railway tracks. The deceased has been identified as Kopya Devappa Naik, a resident of Shirali. It was not known in this case whether Devappa committed suicide or was mowed down while crossing the tracks. Bhatkal Suburban police have registered a case and investigations are going on.
