Man held for entering mosque drunk

Mangaluru: Kavoor police arrested a man for allegedly entering a mosque in a drunk state. The accused is Hanumanth from Bagalkot.
City police commissioner Anumpan Agrawal said that the accused had entered Millat Nagar Masjid, Marakkada village, at 1 pm on Friday. In a video taken by the public, while he was inside the mosque, he was seen in a intoxicated state talking gibberish, and also allegedly uttering objectionable words.

The accused had moved to Mangalore 20 days ago, to work as a labourer. A case has been registered at the Kavoor police station.
