Man dies of Snake bite in Bhatkal

Bhatkallys News Bureau Bhatkal 19 March 2018: Narayan Devadiga (45) died on Sunday in a private hospital at Kundapur where he was being treated for the snake bite that he sustained while working in the field in Belli on Saturday. Speaking to Bhatkallys.com over a phone call, the investigating officer of the case Manjunath Gowda of Rural Police Station informed, Narayan was working in a field when he was bitten by a poisonous snake on Saturday following which Narayan collapsed and was rushed to the Bhatkal Taluka Government Hospital by the residents of Belli. He was then shifted to a Kundapur Government Hospital for further treatment where he succumbed to the injury. Manjunath further added that Narayan has left behind a Mother, wife and a son. A case has been registered in Bhatkal Rural Police Station.
