Man dies as cooking stove explodes in Murdeshwar

Murdeshwar 28 November 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) A man died after sustaining critical burn injuries after a cooking stove in which he was preparing tea exploded here on Monday at Murdeshwar. The deceased has been identified as Shankar Somaiah Naik, a resident of Murdeshwar who used to work as architect. As per sources on Monday evening, the Kerosene stove exploded while Shankar was preparing tea. As a result the kerosene got spilled on to his body which resulted in him sustaining severe burn injuries. Shankar died on the spot, as the locals informed police. A case has been registered at Murdeshwar police station. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
