Man arrested for selling illegal liquor in Bhatkal

Bhatkal 07 April 2018: The Bhatkal Rural Police on Friday arrested a 30-years-old man for illegal sale of Beer tin and bottle near Sodigadde cross of Bhatkal.

The accused has been identified as Yogesh Poojari (30), resident of Uppunda working as Manager at Shabari Hotel near Sodigadde cross of Bhatkal.

Yogesh on Friday around 5:30 pm was selling ‘Kingfisher’ Beer tins and Bottles without any licence at a public place behind Shabari Hotel near Sodigadde cross to which he was taken into custody and a total of 12 Liters of alcohol was also recovered from him.

A case has been registered in Bhatkal Rural Police station.
