Man arrested for illegally selling alcohol near Bhatkal bus stand

Bhatkal 26 September 2019: Police on Wednesday detained a man who was allegedly selling alcohol illegally near Bhatkal Bus Stand here on Wednesday evening. The arrested accused has been identified as Ganesh Naik 42, a resident of Bhatkal. According to sources, the accused was allegedly selling alcohol to people near Bhatkal Bus Stand without having permit or license. The police after detaining Ganesh, also seized alcohol worth over Rs. 7,500/- from him. A case has been registered at Bhatkal Town Police station.
