Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem to receive 'Achievers of Karnataka' award from Vijaya Karnataka

Bhatkal 2 October 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem Bhatkal has been selected for the 'Achiever of Karnataka' award in the category of NGOs, by the Vijaya Karnataka of the Times Group. The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place at Hotel Shangri-La, Vasant Nagar Bengaluru on October 3, Wednesday in the presence of Dr. G Parameshwara, Deputy CM of Karnataka. "Vijaya Karnataka has made sincere effort to identify and honour individuals and institutions for their extraordinary and outstanding contribution to North Karnataka" read a press release by the organisers. Tanzeem General Secretary Altaf Kharuri confirmed the news while speaking to Bhatkallys.com and added "Yes the Tanzeem has been selected for the award, and a delegation of Tanzeem will attend the event in Bengaluru on October 3".
