Magdoom Colony residents protest fencing by forest officers

January 22, 2016 | Correspondent | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: In a bid to protest against fencing work carried out adjacent to survey no 79/80 in Magdoom Colony by forest officers, residents of the locality surrounded the officers and questioned the move. The locals alleged that previously too forest officers deliberately put fences near playground although the playground was famous for hosting various competitions. The officers however downplayed the allegations saying that they only carry out orders from the authorities and advised the residents to approach concerned officers with their complaints. - ARF
