Madeena Welfare Society holds Felicitation Program for Hajj Pilgrims

Bhatkal - 02 Oct 2011: Madeena Welfare Society hosted a felicitation program for Hajj pilgrims here at Hasan-ul-Banna Library, Madeena Colony, Bhatkal on Saturday, October 01 at 5:00 pm.
The program was begun with the recitation of verses from Holy Quran by Adnan Qazi. Moulana Ifran S M delivered welcome speech.
Later, chief guest of the function, Moulana Farooque Qazi addressed the gathering. In his speech he praised the efforts of Madeena Welfare Society for their social and welfare work and gave useful advice to the audience. He also wished Hajj pilgrims and prayed for their successful completion of Hajj.
The program was concluded with the dua of Moulana Sawood Nadvi. Mr Abdullah Rafique compered the program.
It may be noted that, Madeena Welfare Society was established in the late eighties in Madeena Colony. Its prime goal was to conduct social, religious and welfare services in the area. Its general elections are held in every 3 years and new executive body is elected.
Recently just before Ramadan, its elections were held and a new general body was constituted for the next 3 year term. The details are as follows,
