M.A. Ghani  Awards for Academic Excellence winners felicitated

MANGALURU - The M.A. Ghani  Awards for Academic Excellence 2017 were given away at the BJM Eid Milan 2017 held recently. The  Bhatkali Jamatul  Muslimeen, Mangaluru  had launched the  academic awards in the memory of late MA Ghani saheb, former president of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen and one of the  illustrious leaders of Bhatkal. The awards have been instituted  to perpetuate the memory of Ghani saheb. A brilliant documentary produced by the BJM, Mangaluru and compiled by Aftab Kola was shown  just before the awards distribution.  Arshad SM, president of BJM had remarked, "These awards will certainly bring alive the  sacrifices of Ghani saheb  and inspire today's younger generation." The awards were presented to those students in SSLC, PU 2 and Degree who have scored 85 per cent and above. The awardees are as follows: X Std
